Hey all, I was calibrating my set up with the Disney WOW disc and I realized when I got to the speaker configuration that my Rear Centre Left and Right speakers were not outputting any audio when receiving a 7.1 audio source. I confirmed it again with a couple 4K Blu-rays, one in Dolby Atmos, the other in DTS-MA 7.1
When I set up the receiver (Yamaha Rx-A760) with the YPAO Mic, it outputs sound from every speaker, so I know they're connected. However, when it cycles the test tones speaker by speaker, once it goes to the SBR/SBL speaker, I hear the reciever "click" like it's turning them on, then "click"s again when it goes to the Side surround speakers as if to turn them off. I don't know how to get the receiver to leave them on all the time. I've included some pics of what I see on screen. You can see the source is obviously correct, but the Output is wrong, with the two SB speakers greyed out at time of playback. Anyone know what the issue is here? They are not set to Zone 2 and Zone 2 has been turned off. Notice the input is correct, but output is wrong: ![]() ![]() Playing the DTS-MA 7.1 track on Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates 4K. The other surround back speakers are not lit up. ![]() But they are set up properly: ![]() Last edited by agoofykindasuperman; 12-29-2016 at 08:04 PM. |
