update: somebody just informed me that 1080p is not possible because MS said so. I guess this developer is lying.

If this comes out to be true by release day, then we would have AT LEAST TWO titles that will use native 1080p resolution at 60 fps (this one and Riiiiidge Racer 7 :P)

I hope this applies to both Live and 2k series that will come for the PS3.

60fps at 1080p - anyone know if the Xbox360 can match this?

I realise it's debatable whether or not the 360 really does/can output native 1080p for games, but it would be interesting to see if some of the launch PS3 games are running at speeds and resolutions that 2nd and 3rd gen Xbox360 games cannot achieve...

Considering most of the 360 games I have played can not even hold to 30fps at 720p, I would doubt it considerably.
