Canada Upgrade question: Now that I have some money...

Hi Forum! First time posting in this forum, usually stick to the 4K sub. Nevertheless, hello!

I have a Onkyo 5.1 setup in my basement right now. The other 2 speakers, as it was a 7.1 but its too small of a space are sitting in a box, and I don't really miss them as the sound still sounds fantastic.

I haven't really thought about it up till recently, but I think I want to upgrade. I just bit the bullet and purchased a SONY 65X930d and am loving the 4K picture paired with my PS4 PRO. I've been using a BestBuy finance card to work up my credit and paying it off quick and another purchase seems to have caught my eye.

My question is this: Is bitting the bullet, again, on a SONOS 5.1 setup (Soundbar, Sub, and two PLAY:1 speakers) worth it? I don't mind the steep price as it'd be paid over 6 months or so (6 months early... ) I love the simplicity but I'm worried it wouldn't sound as clear and crisp as my 5.1 right now, as other posters have said Wireless setups are inferior. Another issue, my cat and dog are taking a keen interest in those thin wires under the carpet.

Long story, I know, but I'm going to film school September next year and would love to bring my sound system, but don't want to go through the effort of packing and unpacking, and the good ol' setup again.

HELP.
