United Kingdom 'OJ - Made In America'

Hi there.

Went into HMV on Monday to see if they had this on Blu-ray, they did but the box didn't specify any subs, and the assistant I spoke to said it didn't.

Why, in 2017, are we still getting films (particularly Oscar-winning ones!) without subtitles on discs? This should be law at this point

How would he know, has he checked the disc?

Cost. Especially for over 7 hours like this title.

I asked the label 2 or 3 weeks ago via email if there are english subtitles on the disc. Never got an answer.

I can confirm that, unfortunately, it does NOT have subtitles.

The US version is RA locked as per all ESPN BDs.

You could have recorded off BBC4HD. That had subtitles.

Did it get a showing on BBC Four? I thought it was an online-only iPlayer exclusive on the Beeb.

I watched on iPlayer. Was marketed as Storyville which is the documentary series on BBC4 hence I thought must have been on TV as well. You may be correct as don't remember a TV listing for it.

Great doc, but perhaps a little bit too floundering in the first and last portions (of the five part version). Definitely one to pick up though, and glad Dogwoof had the sense to put it out on Blu-ray - they've been quite good on that front lately.
