Default Worlds First 4K Ultra HD computer monitor with HDCP 2.2 copy protection ($599)

LG is becoming a state of the art consumer electronics company. They are the only ones that currently make OLED flat panels for the home theater market, and now it appears LG is the very first company to release a 4K Ultra HD LCD computer monitor with HDCP 2.2 copy protection. As far as I am aware, this 27 inch $599 LG 27MU67 computer monitor is the only desktop computer monitor that supports HDCP 2.2 copy protection. HDCP 2.2 is needed to play Ultra HD Blu-ray discs and other 4K content. However this new monitor only supports 40-60Hz refresh so all 24fps material most likely will be played back at 60Hz with 3:2 pulldown (all flat panel desktop computer monitors use 3:2 pulldown) .

"It comes with two HDMI 2.0 ports supporting 60fps 4K content and HDCP 2.2 copy protection."
