I changed it to the poster to the one similar to the Toy Story 3 one.

Thanks that looks much better IMO. You should keep it to whichever one you like, you're the OP.

I might have to buy that poster even if I don't like the movie. Haven't seen it yet though.

I got the one with Jason Segal & Amy Adams and the Muppets cast 27x40 poster from Disney Movie Rewards for free today.

I prefer the one without Jason Segel, too.
Given the one-sided audience reaction to the movie, I suspect Disney will in the final cover art as well.

But that's beside the point:
Now that they've had their egos artificially inflated to the point of getting over their earlier panic, when will they decided it's safe to release it in tandem with the 1979 Muppet Movie on Bliu?
(I'm just judging Disney's actions by the whole Tron Legacy comparison--Similarities right down the line.)

(Disney marketing hubris aside, it's starting to sound like the time the real Muppet Show wanted to introduce that reporter character from the Season 2 George Burns episode to the press as a "new running character", and then found out he wasn't even worth one episode--Scratch one character, exited quietly.
And does anyone even remember the name of that obnoxious CGI character Jim Henson wanted to permanently write into the NBC show and the Disney Parks attraction? No, really, he was serious about it.)

He's a new Muppet character, you don't have to like it, but it's true. The movie deals with it. You don't have to like the movie, EricJ, but the general public and many fans, myself included, loved it. It was nostalgic, it was fun, and it's one of the best Muppet films in a while. You can keep up your one man crusade against it, but it won't change the fact that people are enjoying it. You can stick with the originals while we enjoy this one with the originals. Jason Segal took a lot of love and care when crafting this movie, and it shows. It's absolutely wonderful. Have you seen it yet? Because you keep spewing dreck in the Muppet threads about how awful it is, but you can't possibly know unless you see it. But as I said, if you want to hate it fine, that's your business. But quit raining on everyone else's parade because we're enjoying it.

And also, as far as the Muppet Vision 3D character, yes I remember him. His name was Waldo C. Graphic. And he wasn't the best, but he was still fun, and Muppet Vision 3D still stands as a very entertaining Muppet short.

Blu-ray.com just listed this. It's "The Muppets Movie Collection" with "The Muppet Movie", "The Great Muppet Caper", "The Muppets' Christmas Carol", "Muppet Treasure Island", "The Muppets' Wizard of Oz", and "The Muppets".

If it's Disney, we'll hopefully hear the single-title releases soon, without the two stinky fraudulent ones.

Looks like this will hit the same day as the new movie on blu. I hope this is also available individually!!

Saw the new movie last night and it was amazing... made me remember my childhood and how much I love these guys. When they sang Rainbow Connection followed by the ending I was a mess... LOL.

Seasons 1-3 of The Muppet Show are on DVD. That and Muppets Tonight probably won't be released on Blu because they were shot on video. However, I don't know why they haven't finished releasing The Muppet Show on DVD or released any of Muppets Tonight...

I never bought The Muppet Show because they never finished releasing the series. Disney had already done that with Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, and Chip and Dale, so I wasn't going to get hit with that as well. I didn't realize they were shot on video though, so yeah, no blu-ray release. But how about a DVD release of Muppets Tonight and a re-release of the entire Muppet Show series? Come on Disney.
