Default HD DVD Pricing on combo discs.

This is just my opinion here, but when an HD DVD combo movie is cheaper than the DVD counterpart, I don't see the sales completely for HD DVD. For example, Hot Fuzz and Knocked up are $20 DVD titles, but you can get them both on HD DVD combos for $27, and play them on DVD. If we're under the rules that we can count something as cheaper than DVD and plays on DVD as a Hd DVD sale, then why not just throw in a free HD Dvd with the purchase of every DVD, lol? That'll pad some nice bullshit numbers.

I know blu-ray have been doing plenty of bogo deals, and I bet several points it was cheaper to buy a blu-ray than the DVD counterpart. But the difference is that only a blu-ray owner could actually use the disc. Which means there was no motivation for bargain hunter DVD buyers to pick up the blu-rays to play on their dvds. I mean... come on now, Sony could give a free copy of spiderman 3 on blu with every purchase of spiderman on DVD, and sell that for cheaper than the regular spiderman 3... and get a shitload of blu-ray sales, doesn't mean it would actually mean anything about the health of the blu format or that they'd be making any profit.
