Having fun with this. It looks just like a full version, but it's definitely a quite condensed version of the AC we know and love (I mean, obviously).
There's a micro-transaction element (again, obviously), but honestly, I think you can get by perfectly fine without paying a cent unless you're super impatient, in which case, why are you playing Animal Crossing? I might buy the special pack of the leaf tickets for $0.99/3.99 while they have those, since I don't mind financially supporting a game I know I will probably be playing for a while, though $5 is probably the maximum I'd ever pay. I can see them incorporating some of the elements from this game into the next full version (on the Switch! I would presume). I especially like the friendship levels and the honey/fishing nets, and hope we see those implemented into the main series. By the way, this must be the best the graphics for AC have ever been! Who would have thought? lol |

So after a month of play, I must say that the game is quite tedious compared to the mainline games. Best not to play it religiously. It's still charming, and I love decorating the campsite/camper, and I get a little excited when they add new animals/furniture, lol.
I'm ready for a Switch version now! (Hopefully sooner rather than later!) |
