Default 2017: 25 Films.

After watching 104 films in 2017, pulling over 1,000 clips, and whittling them down to 293...here's my latest tribute to the best the Year in Film had to offer. 2017 was a hell of a year personally, professionally, and especially cinematically. I sincerely hope y'all enjoy.

That's a superbly edited video. Where did you get the 3 billboards and Lady Bird footage from? trailers ?

As for the list - It's very good but I can't for the life of me see why Get Out is rated so highly. It must be the most overrated movie of all time. Notable omissions:

The Killing of a Sacred Deer
A Ghost Story
Columbus
Beatriz at Dinner
The eyes of my mother
Personal Shopper
Marjorie Prime

Damn impressive, my boy. Happy to see Lost City of Z in the top three, to boot.

BTW, do you think you might participate in the community's poll of favorite films of the year? This vid seems like a snug fit for it.

Excellent work. Love seeing Brawl in Cell Block 99 in there, as well as The Lost City of Z in the top 3.

A lot of this footage I sourced from hd-trailers.net, but on occasion I had to source from YouTube in as high-quality as I could get.

Of your list, I still need to catch up on Marjorie Prime and Beatriz at Dinner. I loved A Ghost Story, but there wasn't enough room. The song was the best of the year, though, so that's why it's used. Also loved Deer, but didn't think it was as strong as The Lobster. Equal props for Eyes and Columbus. Hated Personal Shopper, but I've been meaning to give it another look.

And I'm definitely going to vote in the year-end polls!!
