20th Anniversary Edition of Jerry Maguire supposedly incoming on the 17th October.

No official artwork as of yet, just the below mock-up on various Nordic sites.



Hopefully this contains the 4K transfer that was released in Japan and Hong Kong, but also the extras from the previous release.

Nice, I hope we also get the 4K mastered Groundhog Day in the west soon, only with a better colour grade than the JPN disc. (Beautiful 4K transfer but skin tones look far too yellow in certain shots)

In for this IF they do a thorough retrospective documentary, and port over the DVD features that aren't on the current edition. The video commentary on the DVD was enjoyably bizarre, what with Renee Zellweger popping out to get refreshments for everyone and a bald-headed Tom Cruise wearing a fishing hat throughout more commonly seen on pensioners by the seafront.

Disappointing that Sony are still keeping that "watch it anywhere" banner going. It's like they thought everyone else switched so our ugly cases can now stand out from the crowd.

So this Blu-ray & CD soundtrack set is out on Monday, cheapest currently seems to be at Zoom for £10.80 (with code SIGNP10).
The review for the US disc includes the line;

there's no mistaking this as a top-shelf 1080p presentation, probably about the height the Blu-ray format can reach.

High praise indeed.
Hopefully Sony UK won't make the same mistake they did at the end of 2016 with Crouching Tiger (ie accidentally pressed old disc).

Is it safe to say that the Zoom link will contain the supposed Limited Edition with the mission statement etc?

Well I bought from Zoom, shipped last Tuesday and still hadn't arrived up to Saturday. Since they downgraded their postage so they now use one of those secondary mail companies who only use Royal Mail for the final stage of delivery from your local sorting office I find their packages take around a week to arrive.

The listing for this on the BVA website already has it down as 'deleted' so unless that's an error I'd say they weren't kidding about the 'limited edition' part! Got my order in.

I thought it was just the booklet and CD that made it limited and there'd be a version without those later on, but maybe not. I've actually never seen this movie before, so I might grab it at some point.

Still no show from Zoom. Tomorrow will be 1 week for UK delivery. Starting to worry given comment above this is already OOP. I am sure Zoom won't consider lost for 2 or more probably 3 weeks.
