My favourite film of 2012 by far...

Winner of Best Film at The BFI London Film Festival.

Matthias Schoenaerts is Ali, a downtrodden father forced to move in with his sister in the city with his son. After taking a job as a bouncer he meets orca-trainer Stéphanie, played by Marion Cotillard. So begins a friendship which the two later rely on to cope. After a freak accident at work, Stéphanie loses both her legs, and grows closer to Ali than either expected.
