This is ****ing awesome. I’m wondering whether I should cancel my pre-order for The Green Knight now since this may go the same route as there’s the director’s cut being rumored.

Really (pleasantly) surprised this was their next choice for a 4K. This is maybe my favorite A24 release but they have a lot of movies that seemed to be more popular than this one. Either way, very happy!

As someone from the Bay Area, I'm pretty biased but it was my second favorite movie of that year, behind only Parasite.

Beautiful movie, Jonathan Majors deserved a best supporting actor nom imo

I will generally agree this seems like a random pick from the catalog, even though it definitely was a big hit for what it was. It's not quite "the floodgates are open!" that releasing something that ostensibly lost money like Ghost Story or Waves would be but it's certainly encouraging (and you have to imagine The Lighthouse has to be in the works, whether from them or from Criterion or maybe even Lionsgate itself wants to loop back around to it). Hopefully something else pops up before the end of the year so it's not just a annual thing.

I've actually not seen this one, despite owning the blu-ray for a while now.
Looks like this is shipping fairly soon so I'll just hold off & watch it in 4K.

Wow, I was NOT expecting this.

Absolutely gorgeous movie, one of my favorite A24 releases, and honestly just one of my favorite movies in general. Such a deeply personal and emotional story, accompanied by absolutely brilliant cinematography and a terrific soundtrack. The movie's lighting and color palette are very unique and almost feel surreal at times. I fell in love with it the first time I watched it.

At times I've almost considered this to be my favorite film of 2019, but I think Uncut Gems just manages to beat it. Still, it's easily my runner-up for that year. I'm surprised that A24 is coming out with this collector's edition because I feel like I barely know anyone who's heard about this movie, let alone seen it (which is honestly a shame).

My job situation right now means I will probably have to wait a while before picking this up, but I'm extremely jealous of anyone who does. (My standard Lionsgate blu and the UHD version on Vudu will do me just fine for now.) Still, I'd love to see some screen caps and comparisons when people start getting this in.

These releases would be better if they were combo packs instead of forcing you to choose a format. That’s why I skipped the Midsommar release. I ended up just buying the UK Director’s Cut on standard Blu-ray.

Glad to see Midsommar wasn’t a one-off. Just gonna be sitting here waiting for the only A24 movies that matter: Spring Breakers and Under the Silver Lake.

I might get this as an impulse buy. Never seen this before. Will we see a cheaper version of this movie? If not. Its $57.07 usd to ship to the UK. Does this included import fees and tax etc? Thanks for any help given

Not sure if you're region free, but there's a R1 disc via Lionsgate. It's 20 on Amazon.
