Apologies if this has already been addressed, but I couldn't find a definitive answer in the forums related to my inquiry.
Just bought this Dolby Atmos soundbar with sub and 2 rear speakers yesterday. I have the soundbar and sub placed appropriately, however I'd like some feedback on the optimal placement for the rears. Our room is a bit cramped at around 13X13 with the couch directly in front of the TV against the wall. For our previous soundbar, I had the rear speakers right about ear level and due to short wires that had to connect to the sub, the right rear was directly next to one end of the couch and the left rear was placed about three feet from the other end. With the K950's rears having upward facing speakers and the couch against the wall, I'd appreciate suggestions on how high I should have them placed. Also, should I try to space the right rear as far from the couch as possible? There's nothing I can do to get the left rear any further due to a short divider wall. Just wanting to get the best quality sound from this setup. As I have it now, with the rears in the same spots as before, the system still sounds great, but was hoping for optimal placement from folks who have the same soundbar or a similar room configuration. Thank you! |
