oh my. I remember seeing these in a drive in when I was young. Don't remember them being especially good films, but I do remember enjoying them. Will probably pick these up later - for nostalgic memories if nothing else.

I knew it would be a matter of time before somebody released these after The Wrecking Crew was highlighted in Tarantino's Once Upon A Time In... Hollywood. Surprised it took this long!

Count me in. I'm always down for more of the spy genre films and anything with Dean Martin.

Even if the link was up, Amazon UK probably isn't shipping pre-order titles to the US at this time.

Well it's great that these films are finally being released on blu-ray. I'm only surprised that Indicator didn't put them out first, as all 4 Matt Helm films are Columbia titles and these would have made a nice Hammer-style 4 disc boxset. It's got to be more than 20 years ago since I last saw any of these films.

Oh, what is the product reputation?
I've had the DVDs in my US amazon basket (just as a reference) for years and never bought them and they are now up for 150-ish USD so I'm happy I can finally buy them, I hope the artwork is fine and also the actual quality of the movies.

My father-in-law turned me on to these a few years ago when he asked for them for Christmas. Had never heard of them before that. It was about year or so later then when The Wrecking Crew was featured in Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood and the price for the DVD set went way up. Glad to see it getting some Blu-ray love in the UK, and could definitely see Mill Creek releasing this set in the US.

Great news! I thought the only chance we had to get these released on blu-ray was if they were released in the Sony MOD line and it would probably be a very long wait.

These are a lot fun. The Matt Helm Lounge set is one of the few DVD sets I have left. Hopefully there will be a N.A. set released soon too, otherwise I'll definitely have to import these.

I agree, they are enjoyable films, and the strange thing is they were never even released on DVD here in the UK (to the best of my knowledge), so this blu-ray set is very welcome indeed.

I might be interested in this release. But there is always that nagging set of questions in the back of my mind about this label (do they not want people to order directly from them? Why no website and social media pages?). You can't contact them (I know with what's been going on the past near twelve months, it would be difficult to have a customer service department). They're a bit similar to VEI, in that their new titles come out of the blue, no announcements.

A New York City newspaper ad for The Silencers (1966) advertising a personal appearance by the Slaygirls:

The Slaygirls in London:
Quote:
Six actresses from Hollywood appear as the 'Slaygirls' in London, to promote the spy spoof film The Silencers starring Dean Martin. (l-r) Mary Jane Mangler, Inga Neilsen, Marilyn Tindall, Jan Watson, Karen Joy and Barbara Burgess. They will make personal appearances at London theatres before travelling to Zurich and Munich.
