Default Killzone 5 (Rumor!!)

Oh please God be true! Actually I'd love to see Sony do a hard re boot of this series with a greater emphasis on narrative and character development!

I've been pretty apathetic about this series for a while now but a new direction would certainly be welcomed by me.

I really enjoyed 2 and 3. Shadowfall was OK, but it was exactly what a launch game typically is, a graphical showpiece but light on depth.

The first 3 games were fun (especially 2), and SF had some cool level design. I'd be down for a KZ5! Sony shouldn't forget about their FPS franchises like Killzone or hey, Resistance!!

Oh that's interesting. I had fun with the weapons (more than Killzone's even), and really enjoyed the world they built. Guess that's Insomiac's gift.

Even though I love the first three games, I wasn't excited for Shadowfall and still haven't played it.

I actually would like to see another K1 type of game. It was fun playing the remaster of the first one.

loved 2,3 and hated shadowfall the way they nerfed the cloak upset me one of the coolest features in any game and they kept nurfing it.

I'm all for it because I loved the series. Hopefully they will utilize the multiplayer aspects of part 2 though.

Whatever. Killzone wasnt that great a series so its a take it or leave it type of thing. KZ2 was the only great one in the series. 1 sucked and 3 and SF were disappointments. Never played the Vita entry. Id rather Resistance return

Resistance 3 and Killzone 2 remasters (using modern engines) would be highly welcomed! All new games in both series as well please!

edit: a new TimeSplitters game as well would be awesome.

I'd rather see a PS4 re master of the Vita game. That's the one I never got a chance to play and it got great reviews if I remember correctly.

I don't see why they can't do both. A Vita remaster isn't likely to sell well on its own but throw it in a collection with the PS3 games and you have a winner

I do not want to see a reboot. They just did a soft reboot, they need to get back to what made the series great. Weighty shooting, in dark, grimy locations with an emphasis on team work online. Shadow Fall whilst a solid mp experience was the wrong direction for this series and brought far to many exploitable mechanics into the series.

I really never could get into the Killzone series but if this rumour is true then I'm all for it.

Same.

It felt like Sony's way to compete with Halo. I'm not a Halo fan either.

If true I'd really like to see them make the decision to make it a 60fps game. We're to a point now where there's too many examples of amazing looking first person games that also manage to run at that framerate (Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, SW Battlefront, COD IW, Doom, etc). There's just no sense in this day and age to make 30fps first person shooters anymore.

But, but, they have to be TECH DEMOs that have varying framerates!
