Well, they keep saying that WB would announce HD exclusivity since they were going to their conference, so this proves that WB will go to both

One side in me is hoping they go Blu-ray exclusive. The other side is thinking they'll stay neutral (the most probable case but - don't flame me, that's a wild guess.)

I think most of us knew they would attend both conferences... but the CONTENT of them will be what is interesting.

I spoke with the BD association's PR group yesterday and they also confirmed Warner is scheduled to participate in the BD press conference.

Hmm, if I had seen this article a few hours earlier I wouldn't have needed to pursue an answer myself.

Meaning that if he had seen this article earlier, he wouldn't have had to seek out the answer from the PR people or the BDA by his self...I assume anyway.

Warner should just release the Matrix and that will be the end of it!

I think you're right. When I read it again, it made sense. I hadn't had my coffee when I read it the first time.

Let's stay in the real world, and not some deluded HD-DVD fanboys version of it.

It should be quite easy to spot FUD and dismiss it out of hand, rather than repeating rumours all over the internet.

WB will likely stay neutral in the short term, but when that day comes to go exclusive, you'd have to be stark raving bonkers to believe it will be anything but Blu-ray.

I thought that claim was debunked. That it was a list of members, not a list of participants.

They shouldn't even be at the DUD conference at all????

WB playing more silly games.

This really isn't the encouraging news we were hoping for

They aren't playing silly games, they were never going to announce exclusivity at CES, but this time next year it's 99% certain they'll be Blu-ray exclusive.

What's a couple of months between friends, WB being neutral simply delays HD-DVD's inevitable death, HD-DVD's end is already set in motion.

The fun and games between now and the end are simply the major players protecting their own backs, hoping they don't crash and burn along with HD-DVD.
