United Kingdom Jumper

I picked this up today and noticed that around 17:30-17:36 there is a glitch and a quarter of the bottom of the image turns to complete black with a fuzzy top edge for about 0.5 seconds (blink and you miss it). Was wondering if anyone else with this disc had this problem and whether I have one from a bad batch?

Do I have grounds for a replacement from the store I bought it from?

edit: Managed to pause it at the glitch (17 mins 32 seconds)

Also noticed that in the opening sequence the top left edge of the pyramid has a strange black shadow that shouldn't be there. (1 min 1 second)

My copy has the exact same problem...it's the italian release...
I think it's in all copies....maybe a compression error? I'm not an expert...
greets from Italy

I've just checked my copy (also the Italian release) and while there's no fuzzy glitch you both mention, the black shadow on the top left edge of the pyramid is there - looks like an unfinished CGI effect to me.

The movie is a huge missed opportunity but I can't wait to see how effective the 3D conversion is

Yep, I wonder how the Studio picks what movie is going to be converted.
So many that I would love to see in 3D, but not this one!

Definitely not worth a pre order. But, I dunno I might get it if I'm in a good mood.

This film has probably the most unlikable lead character (that is supposed to be likeable) that I've ever seen in a film... which is probably in the wrong aspect ratio, anyway.

PASS!

Was a good movie! Was this originally filmed with 3d cameras or a 3D conversion from 2D? Sorry for silly question?

The 3D in I, Robot 3D seems to get better for me each time i watch it. Unlike the movie itself.

So this is out today. Should be picking it up lunchtime, wonder what HMV price is. Here's hoping for a good conversion!
