I doubt it will stay $40 for long. At the minimum you'll be able to get it for 50% off on one of full moon's sales.

I watched mine a few weeks back and I thought it looked great! A few rough shots that look source related. It certainly doesn't look like any sharpening or DNR was applied like the Trancers 4K. It's out of stock right now, but blowitouttahere regularly runs 2 or 3 items with 15% off.

Surprise, surprise... Full Moon actually did a good job with this one. Lossless audio and English subtitles for the first time ever. Hopefully their future 4K UHD releases offer the same quality.

It's most likely because the the Blu-ray its self had an excellent transfer. Now correct me if my theory is wrong. So, is 0 kbps equivalent to say having infinite bitrate?

The cheapest sites I can locate right now are Deep Discount CD at $31.42 and Target at $37.49 (do note Target says Blu-ray even though the picture shows UHD).

I just didn't do a full 100% scan for the exact bitrate, which would take a while to do, so it only shows 0 as a default. The total bitrate should give a good representation however... they actually did a fairly good job with this encode.

Okay, that makes sense now. At almost 88 bitrate that should be excellent with DV mapping.

That good to hear, usually whenever someone buys off ebay it tends to be a bootleg or repackaged. Especially when it's that low from the MSRP. But proper shipping package that always a huge plus for us collectors.

The ebay seller might list more of them. It looks like they've sold quite a few thus far, but only add 1 copy per listing. Their other items are mostly all Full Moon releases, and they shipped from Los Angeles... so I'm guessing it may just sort of be an unofficial outlet for excess stock.
