Some of their releases have been region free they just don't acknowledge it for whatever reason.

Also I believe this is being put out by Manga for the UK.

Want it but £29.99 is too much. Are we thinking the price will drop before release?

Would love this but not for £30, especially if I can get the Pokemon one. I'll wait to see if there's a lower price later on

I would buy this just to import the case even if the disc wasn't region free but the £ is too strong, this would be $40USD, no freakin' way I'm paying that much for a case. When I bought Drive (steelbook) years back it was only $12 from HMV.

£29.53 and no word on whether it'll include the alternative cut?

Yeah, Amazon can keep it.

What alt cut?

All the copies of the film that had any different cuts were destroyed by ITV years ago iirc.

Thats why you'll never see ultra mangus being pulled apart

The alt cut from the old 2000's Metrodome 2 disc DVD.
Complete with a slightly different opening, Spike's "other reaction" to Unicron's survival, and Magnus's unfortunate dismemberment.

I have all the versions. The dismemberment isn't in any of them. It was animated and removed for being to violent. Then when ITV took over Rank film they managed to either lose, reuse or destroy tons of old tape and film stock.

The "oh shit" is only in the PG version of the metrodome release. The U version of that disc is the same apart from "oh shit"

The extras have the story boarded non coloured versions of many missing scenes, including Mangus behing draw and quarted

The only difference between them is

Maverick dvd is shocking quality and has the rank films gong at the start and is PG

The sony/tv loonland/metrodom reconstructed version has the full 4:3 frame and shows the rounded edges of the film stock. Also has better quality and the DEG logo at start and is PG

The metrodome version which is the "ultimate" version has a dvd which is PG and a blu ray which is U.

The U version does indeed have the "oh shit" moment. So they have labeled the blu ray incorrectly

Both versions start with the DEG logo.

None have magnus draw and quartered.
