UV act as a bridge between Fandango Now & VUDU?

Loyal VUDU user, but new to Fandango Now. Since I have my UV account linked to both, whatever I buy in one should be playable in the other, yes?

Ok, well it works where my VUDU titles show up in FandangoNow, but still hesitant about buying something on FN with a promo code, as I prefer using VUDU

As long as the movie is UV, all should be well.

Be warned though, sometimes a movie will show up as UV at another retailer, but it won't be UV enabled at VUDU (sometimes VUDU takes a while to enable UV on titles).

Easiest thing to do is make sure both FN and VUDU have the movie as UV. If that is the case, you should be good to go.

A couple times I've heard someone complain that a UV item that is UV in both FN and Vudu does not port from FN, but I don't think it's very much of anything significant. Everything I have purchased in FN that was UV in both FN and Vudu has ported no problem to Vudu, Flixster, and CinemaNow (ported via the UV locker)

Does FandangoNow have UV-enabled tv shows?

I wanted to grab Batman Beyond season 2 from there, but it doesn't show uv anywhere. Additionally, my Batman Beyond season 1 will port over to FandangoNow. But it only shows up in my ultraviolet library.

The biggest difference between Vudu and Fandango is Disney.

You can link your Disney movies to Vudu. You can't link them to Fandango. That is a huge difference for me because that is 1/5th of my collection.

They do have UV enabled TV, but not very much. Most of it is NOT UV enabled, and so remains in FN. You have to be really careful about TV items purchased in FN, though most (or all?) of HBO items are UV enabled in FN

Thanks for the insight. After looking around, I found that Game of Thrones ported over correctly and displayed uv logos.

I bought Patriot's Day on FandangoNow before it was UV. It is now UV but it isn't showing up in myUV account or Vudu. I was curious if anyone else has had experience with purchasing a movie while it wasn't UV and how long it took to port over.

I have two emails/codes for $5 off Rogue One if I buy it through FandangoNow, which I've never used before. If I buy Rogue One with FandangoNow, would it show up in my Vudu/iTunes accounts and would I get DMR points? From what little I've read it doesn't look like it will, but I just wanna confirm.

If you buy Rogue One at FN, it will not port anywhere else.

You may need to call FandangoNow and have them re-ping your library for it to show.

Just be sure that the movie is UV on FNow and you should be fine. Of course there are exceptions to every rule and there are titles that are "UV" that don't port but they are few and far between. The only one I ever had an issue with was Into the Furnace, and FNow CS was great and refunded my purchase.

Before calling, you can try unlinking/relinking your FNow account to UVVU to refresh your library. Once you see the title in your UVVU, then you should see it in all linked accouts where UV is enabled

Lion is pretty new, and the BD isn't out yet. I would assume it might pop in, but just needs more time, before it actually appears. So wait a bit, it might just appear, just not necessarily today or the near future. But SHOULD normally appear nearer to release date of the BD set

For whatever reasons, glitches of porting to other services seem to still manifest themselves before the physical product's release day. So far all UV items that are new, that I redeem or obtain early, do in fact pop into the other services shortly after or on the "release" day

Ben Hur and Snowden weren't UV on FN when I original got them there and Magnificent Seven wasn't UV on VUDU but they all eventually showed up on VUDU. Have you tried unlinking and relinking your UV account on VUDU?Sometimes that helps.
