How many BD's from now to Dec 31/07 - Blu-ray Forum

I just went through the new releases between now (Tues Oct 16/07) and the end of the year and I plan on buying 36 BD's plus 2 season sets(Lost and Prison Break). This does not include any other existing titles I will get that are already out.

I also ordered 8 from Fry's yesterday and 4 from Amazon today as well as 8 current titles I picked up from Best Buy in the last two days. Since Sept I also ordered just over 30 titles from Warner direct.

That's a total of 86 BD's and two season sets in less then a four month period. I feel as though I'm doing my part to support Blu, so how about everyone else. Go Blu!

Just did a quick count, and I think I have 16 new releases I'll be getting for sure. A handful of rental to see if I like some things, and then a few things already released I'll catch up on.

I have 86 total, got 6 more yester day and today from frys and bestbuy I still have 2 from warner direct backorderd - cant wait for spiderman. GO BLU!!!

I guess I forgot to add my 7 free ones, 5 for buying a new Sony player and 2 more from mail in offers for buying Monster cables. That's if they ever show up. I have been waiting on the 5 for the player for months now. Hey, at least they are free.

So right now i have 86 blus.... i have two mail-in-rebates still pending so thats 10 movies there(ps3 and samsung 1400 purchase

) and i am ordering 8 more from amazons disney sale. Plus there is about 20 or so already out that i want....now looking ahead there are about 50 more before the end of the year... so adding these up that would be 18 + 20 + 50 = 88!!!!!!! That will give me a total of 174 blus by years end!!

Plus there is already 8 or so announced titles for the first two weeks of January.....

Im doing my part!

Right now I have 21 preordered. I will probably buy as many as 15 more depending on the "sales" and what else is released by the end of the year (making up for a slow summer

geez, i wish i could afford all the blu-rays coming out that I want to get. i have 21 coming out before the end of the year then 3 in the first two weeks of next year, not to mention i'm not caught up with current releases

I have alot of the same ones as you on my list, but the one that made me laugh is Fireplace. I ordered that one tonight along with Exotic Saltwater Aquarium. I was wondering how many others would get these.

I don't care either. If I ever wake up and see Norbit in my BLU collection, I'm getting myself locked up.

I've picked up a couple titles that I got just for PQ/AQ, but overall I don't do that. I like my money.
