Hopefully it comes to the U.S. as well. The movie has been out of print for at least 10+ years.

I think all of the Yu-Gi-Oh movies are trash. Pyramid sucks, Bonds Beyond Time is terrible and Dark Side of Dimensions was too long.

I remember being so excited when this came out back in 2004. I think they gave you a card when you bought a ticket as well. I also remember buying the Ani-manga later on lol. I'll still get this if it gets a NA release but I doubt I will enjoy it like I did back then.

"Yu-Gi-Oh" in general is pretty much trash but it's kind of a guilty pleasure. The original series is pretty nonsensical when you get down to it and GX is dumb as Hell (seriously a school to train people how to play a card game?). I can't say anything about the other series because those are the only two I ever had any investment. "Yu-Gi-Oh", at least the original anime, is where I can safely say that the manga is miles better than the anime.

The first 2 seasons of the original Yu-Gi-Oh are solid. Around halfway through season 3 I have trouble slogging through it. I've never fully seen GX but I remember the first bit of season 1 is terrible. YGO is one of those things where I want to own it for nostalgia and nothing else.

I will give credit the original series did have an amazing soundtrack in the original Japanese.

I remember Beyblade doing that same thing around G-Revolution. You'd see the Beyblade getting all slashed up and smashed around and the owner would be acting like they are taking the same hits, being beaten up and all. Card games and tops can be deadly weapons, kids.

You’re forgetting the 1999 movie which was too short. But I liked Pyramid Of Light and Dark Side Of Dimensions. Bonds Beyond Time was just cool to have 3 Yu-Gi-Oh! main characters together.

I love original Yugioh. The manga is even better. All those horror elements are right up my alley.

Also it's my understanding Pyramid of Light's Japanese version runs a few minutes longer? It has a different soundtrack as well. It's a pretty ok movie but the dub's usual nonsense is so embarrassing.

Japanese version is 12 minutes longer not just a few.

There's a lot of extra stuff in the manga too from what I remember. The manga was pretty fun, I remember reading it in the monthly Shonen Jump.

The anime is just plain nostalgia. I really can't talk crap about the first few seasons. Re-watched some of them on netflix about a year ago and enjoyed myself lol.

It doesn't even have to get a US release if it's region free, as long as I can play it, I want it.

Wow I didn't know that. I'm gonna look up what was cut.

BTW is this release just the US version or is it uncut and in Japanese too?
