It's already come and gone in this area. My local AMC had it for one weekend and I didn't get a chance to see it. Then our budget theatre got it but the "projector malfunctioned" so they didn't show it and now it's gone.

I'll have to wait for retail or it to appear online. It got meh reviews anyways and it's Oscar chances are loooong gone.

I would have blind bought this but it's looking like Lionsgate is only releasing it on DVD on February 2nd. Guess I'll just rent it.

Just saw this last week at school with a Q&A with the director, who is one of my teachers, afterwards...

[Show spoiler]I wish I liked it more. It's right up my alley and I love the cast but it just felt so political despite Moore's character constantly saying it's NOT about politics. I know it's based on real events and the director made it clear that he tried really hard to keep the story faithful, but it turned into political lobbying more than the "love story" the director claims it is.

VideoETA is still listing TBA February and they tend to be the definitive source on home video dates. Very rarely does Lionsgate release high-profile titles DVD-only (Addicted and Un Gallo con Muchos Huevos are the recent exceptions and that's because neither one was expected to do much on Blu).

I'm going by the DVD's Release Dates schedule. There's a pre-order up for the DVD but not Blu-ray. And since it flopped I could see it. Lionsgate does do this sometimes. They almost didn't release a Blu-ray for Under The Skin or Enemy.

Amazon and Best Buy will put up pre-orders before a release date all the time. Lionsgate hasn't officially announced the title (neither VideoETA nor Home Theatre Forum are listing it) so I'd wait before crying that the sky is falling.
