VUDU Disc + Digital

Last year I bought Mr. Robot Season 1 on Vudu and I was able to get the physical discs (through Walmart, of course) for the same price.

Currently Game of Thrones Season 6 lets you get the discs for $1 more if you purchase through Vudu.

Does anybody know if there is a list of shows that have the Disc + Digital option?

You can't sort this list though so you can just go through and see what shows are listed. Looks like those are the only 2 shows right now.

Hmm.. for some of the movies, it is cheaper to get the bluray disc than buying the HDX on Vudu. I might have to poke around here a little more.

I looked at this list and noticed that The Book of Eli is listed on vudu for disc + digital for $7.88. This weekend I saw it at Walmart in the $7.88 bin, but it didn't have an instawatch sticker or any other indication that it included a digital copy. This is one instance where ordering it through vudu and having them ship the disc is of greater value than just buying from the bin! I wonder if there are other discs like this....

Just be careful. Not every disc + digital offers free shipping. I thought it would be a good way to get the Expendables-Director's cut for $7.88, but they tack on $5.99 shipping plus tax so it becomes pointless.

I looked at Ex Machina for $7.88. When I saw the $5.99 shipping, I went to the Walmart website and ordered if for $7.88 with InstaWatch and chose the Pick Up At Store option for free shipping.

I'll pick it up next time I'm near Walmart, sometime in the next week or so.
