Default 12 Monkeys: Season Three

Just saw on Amazon.ca that season 3 is being released on April 20th.

It's listed as an import, which is odd. I hope this doesn't end up being a mistake, because earlier indicators gave evidence that this wasn't getting a physical release at all.

It's on Amazon.com as well. The import thing is only when there isn't a Canadian only version.

Great news! I'd also heard that S3 wasn't going to happen, and felt bad that I hadn't bought S2 yet, so did that in January.

Here's the entry for the US Blu-ray:

Odd that they’re releasing this on a Friday.

Nice, hopefully there'll be a release in Europe too.

Yeah, it seemed unusual to me too, but most weeks there are one or more releases with a date other than Tuesday. There are two others coming out on the same Friday as 12 Monkeys, in fact. Hopefully it's no reason for concern.

Maybe Syfy will release season 4 on the same day. It would only be 1 month earlier than season 3 aired last year. SyFy will probably make it another release event weekend of the entire season to burn it off again.

Says "Imports" in the Amazon.com description too (see Product Details). Looked it up on WowHD (sister site of DeepDiscount) and it claims to be an Australian import. That would tally, as whilst UK release days are generally Mondays and North American release days are generally Tuesdays, Australian release days are generally Fridays. Would be a bit strange for an Australian import to be sold like the Amazon listing, but who knows... Australian distributor seems to be Via Vision, who in my experience just port over Universal discs without changing anything, so would likely be region free/work just as well as a US release...

They might have just listed the wrong release date. I've never seen a import available on preorder before on a domestic Amazon site.

Almost certain to the be the AUS release

https://www.madman.com.au/catalogue/...on-3-bd-bluray

Imports get listed as pre-orders all the time. Here's another random example:

As long as its region free or region A ... I'll be happy.

An import makes sense because there is little chance we see an American release on Blu-ray.

Syfy burned this entire season off one weekend for no apparent reason.

If it's Australian it might be region free, but certainly will be region B.

I canceled my preorder until I know for sure about the region. Guess I got excited when I saw it on amazon.

If it is region free I am absolutely buying it. I have really enjoyed rewatching the previous season before watching a new one.

Although I did like 2 better than 3.

I am okay with the weekend burn off. The important thing for me is that they are giving us closure.

Just ordered it from a local shop in the Netherlands. We’re region B, same as Australia, so no problems on that front.

https://www.platomania.nl/album/5852...on-3/tv-series

It even has a barcode, so it looks like it’s really happening.

What if they swerve us and leave it on a cliffhanger like dark matter did?

Season 4 was announced as the final season before season 3 aired, so they've had more than enough time to plan an ending.
