Wow. Let's hope New Line don't DNR the shit out of it like they did the Blu-ray, but this is really a Warners joint now so it should be fine in that respect.

There's been some drama over the color timing of the various BDs, iirc. Should be interesting.

Maybe I'll do one for Almost Famous to see if something happens...

Btw, I'm kind of a newbie in this, but didn't Criterion have the rights to this?
The Criterion edition was the last version of this movie right?

A nice surprise. I had the old New Line Blu but never watched it. Is this the first New Line UHD? If so...bring on "Boogie Nights" and "A History of Violence"!

No, IT and Rampage were the first ones. This is the first catalogue one though. Hopefully Se7en and Blade aren't far behind! Would love Lost in Space (the Leblanc one) too.

Se7en would be amazing but I’d still prefer Boogie Nights. After Goodfellas I consider it to be the best film of the 90’s. It’s an absolute masterpiece. I believe Se7en was the first or one of DTS ES disc, I bet it would sound phenomenal.

woah. Love this one. Will be extremely interesting to see how they treat the night sequences' color, and whether they lift the shadows too much.
