Default Batman: Return to Arkham

Quote:
Batman: Return to Arkham- experience two of the most critically acclaimed titles of the last generation - Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.

Batman: Arkham Asylum exposes players to a dark and atmospheric adventure that takes them into the depths of Arkham Asylum.

Batman Arkham City introduces a brand-new story that draws together an all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe

I love it. Not only does it get the panties of the "pure gamers" in a bunch, but it's involving one of my all time favorite games and one I would welcome on the PS4, in Arkham City.

Bring it on. And bring on more Remasters, so the streets can be flooded with the tears of butt hurt gamers!

It's cool but it does seem a bit odd that these would be released after Arkham Knight. Also these games were available on both PS3 and 360 before so everybody had the opportunity to play them, it's not like if you were an Xbox 360 person last gen and went PS4 for next-gen and missed out on The Last of Us or God of War III. All that being said there's a pretty good chance I'd buy them but bringing them out after AK does seem odd.

The next-gen assets for both titles already exist for the most part via the PC edition of Arkham Origins. Playing that myself at the moment, and it looks stunning running in Full HD at 60fps and full DirectX11 visuals. I played Asylum and City to death back in the day on PS3 and don't want to revisit them, so i'd pass on the Remaster...

I can't believe how many remasters are coming out. It's like no one has any games ready to release so they are just re hashing old games for a quick buck and to pad out the release calendar.

One of the worst starts to a generation software wise in a long time.

It's also a means or way of getting new gamers up to speed on previous franchises as Game Dev's prepare to release a new entry in a series. And with Highest End PC assets from a game so easy to port over to the PS4, it is indeed the proverbial 'quick buck.'

I can't complain about it, as i have bought (and enjoyed immensely) Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition and have got The Handsome Collection on the way.

Because everyone bought a next gen console so they can play the same last gen games with a little more detail. :sarcasm.

I may be in for this as I never got too deep into either of the PS3 versions.

Own both for my PS3. Now if they were to remaster Arkham Origins I would be all over it as I haven't played that yet.

I loved Asylum and City but I wouldn't be in a hurry to play them again.

On Arkham City, I read that there were still one or two easter eggs that Rocksteady said still hadn't been found; is there any news on whether all the hidden bits of the game had been found?
