If I remember correctly this is the film where Hersey is lying on the bed and her breasts are being squeezed by the invisible Entity that's the only thing I remember of this film that I haven't seen since its cinema release

Finally a release with some extras

I believe there is only one HD master available, Eureka's release had better encoding to the US disc but purely for the extras I'll grab this one too.

Fantastic supernatural flick.

It has shades of It Follows, or rather It Follows had shades of this, in that the protagonist was haunted by an invisible or supernatural assailant. I don't remember any gratuitous breast squeezing in that though.

Yes there was breast squeezing in this, and the fake body used was amazingly done. I've been waiting for a disc with some extras, guess I have to check this out. It's been probably 15 years since I saw this the last time.

Excellent news! I've been waiting for this. One of my favourites. I finished reading the novel earlier this year - fantastic!

The spectral rapist's attacks were cut back for the film - not as frequent - compared to the novel, along with the ghost's dialogue - reduced to only one line in the film.

Very creepy film. Much better than the other two supernaturally-themed movies released about the same time - GHOST STORY and POLTERGEIST, imo.

I remember watching this when I was young and it was hard to sleep that night lol.

A truly scary horror film. Watch it at night, alone, with the sound turned way up and all lights out.
