It's official, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance will be the first 4K Paramount Presents title! Release date is May 17th.

Paramount Presents brings one of the greatest movies of the Western genre to 4K UHD with HDR. THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE was selected in 2007 for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.” Adapted from a short story by Dorothy M. Johnson, the screenplay by James Warner Bellah and Willis Goldbeck gave us the often-quoted line “When the legend becomes fact, print the legend.”

Meticulously remastered in stunning 4K Ultra HD for its 60th anniversary this year, THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE is presented in collectible packaging featuring a foldout image of the film’s original theatrical poster and an interior spread with key movie moments. Wall Street Journal wrote an article detailing Paramount's Presents line, and at the end of the article they confirmed The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance will be part of it, as well as Ordinary People (which we knew). They also stated there will be 4K versions of some of the Presents titles coming too.
