Talking I am so Confident in Blu-ray I ordered another player.

Well not to miss out on Region A exclusives and New Line transfers I went out and ordered the Panasonic BD30K. Sweet deal on amazon at present ($406) which is about €276 euros. The price of the first Panny cost between €790 - €900 depending on where you shop. I see this as a no brainer. I already have two PS3s and plan on buying a high end player in the future.

Good, because you know it really is only hardware sales that Warner is looking at.

Well i do have the HD-A1 but have not bought any HD-DVDs since purchasing the PS3. I believe in one unified HDM.

Just keep it till the format war is near over and put it on Ebay and let the hard core HD DVD fan buy extra for his/her bedroom.

...or just ship it to me, I will take care of it, ala Office Space style in my backyard. For NO charge! How's that for a deal?

Would you like to place a little New Year's wager on the lifespan of 'that other format.'

I'm with you. At the moment, I just have a PS3. But within the next two weeks, I'll be building a new Blu-ray PC (with 24" 1920x1200 monitor), and, if what another member has posted here is correct, putting a BD drive in my notebook PC. Oh, yeah... and if any stores offer the new Denon 3808 for under $2k, then that too will be mine. What's this other format I hear people tlaking about... HD DVD? I've seen DVDs... and they're definitely not HD. Thank you, anyway.
