India/Bollywood YRF Blu Ray...

I thought this would be a good thread to merge all topics of YRF blu rays.. current and upcoming...

Dil Bole Hadipaa

Badmash Company (dvd out june 8th)

any other titles in the works?

Personally I think, it's a bad idea. Each film or more precisely, each Blu-ray release, deserves it's own thread.

maybe a place to discuss future releases or even yrf films we'd love to see or inquire about.. instead of opening new threads .. like mohabbatein, hum tum etc

A thread discussing only forthcoming YRF films on Blu-ray would be fine.

I personally agree with 'srkbeno.1', that all discussion on forthcoming titles from YRF, should be in this thread. Only after the actual Blu-ray is out and only when someone can personally comment after having seen the actual Blu-ray, or can post screenshots, should there be an independent thread on the title. Until then, all speculation and anticipation comments should be in this general thread on YRF. Keeping in line with this idea, we should have threads for all distribution companies, ie. BIG, T-Series, UTV, Eros etc. Just my 2 cents.

I didn't really think that Dil Bole Hadippa was that great of a movie, but Badmaash Company seems the better of the two. I still don't know if either of these are worth buying.

well these two are any day better than pyar impossible.. i hear its the best BD so far.. yet i cant get myself to pay money to own that film.. hell no.. so if these next two are just as good as pyar impossible's print quality i wouldnt mind owning one of them..

Haha, that's true. Pyaar Impossible wasn't really my type of movie and it was really hard to watch. I can't wait for movies like Hum Tum to release. I don't know, but lately YRF has been making very average movies. I agree that some of the songs and scenes in Dil Bole Hadippa were nice visually, but the story was just average and nothing spectacular. And I don't understand why old movies released by YRF on BD look bad also (e.g., Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna). If a big budget Karan Johar movie from 2006 looks this messed up on Blu-ray, what can we expect from other old YRF movies?
