United Kingdom How come UHDs in the U.K never go on sale or drop in price?

So many of the UHDs in the U.S have had a price drop. As of right now, there are many titles, mostly Lionsgate, on sale for 14$ (10£).

Others are on sale for 17$ (13£).

The rest are for 19$ (15£).

Meanwhile in the U.K, almost every UHD is for 19£ (25$) and some for 25£ (32$).

I would gladly go on a buying spree but the prices for UHDs in the U.K are simply ridiculous. Most of them haven't budged an inch even months after release.

Zoom & HMV have had a selection in a 2 for £30 for quite a while now.

I do agree not much price dropping going on.

You are lucky guys! In Sweden all UHD releases go for £26 except imports and those go for as high as £35. I've yet to see a single price drop.
Occasionally some stores had a couple titles slightly cheaper but that's all.

The only ones I feel that are worth buying in the current lineup are The Shallows and Mad Max Fury Road.

HMV has X-Men Apocalypse and Sicario but they don't seem to ship outside the UK.

I was hoping for these to go on sale: Deepwater Horizon, Deadpool, The Revenant, etc.

Are there any U.K UHDs that are worse than the U.S counterparts? I've heard that Star Trek Into Darkness has missing extras and that the Canadian version of Hacksaw Ridge is a 66 gb disc while the U.S one is 100 g.b.

HMV has some nice ones on sale. Too bad they don't ship to India.

STID has the same UHD presentation but not the same BD presentation, the U.K. version ditches the two Compendium discs in favour of the original single-disc BD.

But seeing as I already owned the Compendium I had no qualms buying the UK UHD, especially for £13.50 in the zoom offer (2 for £30 with 10% off).

Couldn't disagree more. The number of discs in 2 for £30 at Amazon, Zoom and HMV has been very impressive. Even instore HMV prices are pretty good.

I missed out on the previous sales. Have titles like Revenant and Deadpool been included in the past at Amazon?
