It was inevitable that someone would release this...
The fact that it's the 3D version is certainly a nice plus

3D BRs come w/ the 2D version also...
Since I copy/pasted the exact heading for this one directly from AZ.de, I figured the German text would be self-explanatory

Oh no you're right, I usually just quick scan the steelbook section for country flags. As soon as I saw Captain American, I clicked.

I know all of the 3D BDs come with their 2D counterparts, though I refuse to support 3D BD whatsoever. Tron disc edition? Nope. Lion King trilogy? Not a chance, not in my house.

That's a mighty strange stance. That's kind of like refusing to support Digital Copy and not getting any steelbook that das a DC with it

I don't care about 3D either, but the 2D Version is bundled with it, so it doesn't phase me in the slightest

I do however commend you on sticking to your guns (as misguided as they may be), but why bother even posting in this thread then??

Well, I suppose it comes down to personal preference, really...
When it comes to imports, I'll take a 3D/2D BR combo over a BR/DVD combo any day
DVDs and digital copies of imports are completely useless to us here in the States anyways
I probably have at least 20 or 30 completely useless discs in my SteelBooks right now
Would I have paid $10 or $15 more for every one of them to be 3D/2D combos instead of BR/DVD combos? ...absolutely

hehehe...

remember those days...when people had stance like

*I hate blu-ray...and only buy hd-dvd...
*I hate DVD combos...and only buy a movie without them...

I wish ALL movies come in 3D in the future...

Still very nice.
Based on past experience buying German steelbook I'd say it's an easily peelable plastic sticker.
