Default The contender (2000)

These highly political times (particularly in the US) have me thinking of this very good film that has seemed to disappear in limbo...

THE CONTENDER (2000)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Contender_(2000_film)

Dreamworks came in late to distribute this, but my understanding is that it was largely independently produced. Wonder if it fell through the cracks somewhere? Seems out of circulation across all venues, disc and streaming...many independent sellers on Amazon, though.

Who has Dreamworks titles currently? Universal seems to have the main agreement with them, but there is a note on the Wiki that states that Disney kept some titles when they moved out...

This would have been a very timely release these past few years...and this year. But if Universal simply does a MOD like with PRIMARY COLORS... I guess we shouldn't ask for it.

The Blu Ray of Primary Colors was a pressed disc.

I would definitely love to upgrade my DVD of this. Joan Allen was fantastic in this and Gary Oldman's hair damn near stole the movie.
