The Shootist [Blu-ray] (Japanese All-Region)

I just ordered The Duke's last movie, 'The Shootist' from Amazon Japan. It is a crime you can get his last movie on Blu-Ray in Europe and Japan, but not here in the U.S.A.

Had to think real hard whether to spend that kind of money just to have it in my collection.

The price was 3,970 Yen, which is $33.23 USD at today's exchange rate. Add in another $8.59 to ship it across the big pond and you're lookin' at $41.82.

I understand it was a 2K transfer and until Paramount decides to treat their western library with the proper respect due, we have no choice but to pay these rates.

There are other John Wayne nuggets left to be mined on Blu-ray!

Wish Blu-Ray would add this Japanese 'All Region' Blu-Ray listing to your pull down selection, so I can add it to my collection.
