I just wish it was an actual sequel, but I'll take the 10 minutes. I heard Laura Linney is only in the American version....true?
She better get a happy ending. She was the only one who got a garbage ending.

I wish everyone was coming back, but the 2 sex standins weren't a big deal.

Yup! He wrote and directed it. The British version leaked online, and I found it absolutely charming (even though it admittedly retraces a lot of steps from the original). Hearing, though, that Laura Linney's apparently in the U.S. one fascinates me and makes me want to see this version when it airs. Hopefully her segment doesn't replace someone else's and merely adds onto it. Like others are saying, her character really deserves a happy ending for all she had to go through.

I wouldn't mind Martin Freeman appearing. Any actor who went on to be Dr. Watson and Bilbo Baggins deserves a shot at returning, no matter how small the role.

And any Love Actually sequel has to have Billy Mack. I'd actually watch an entire movie focused on Billy Mack.

UK was first, US is May 26th. The only difference is the US release adds Laura Linney and the continuation of Sarah's story.

The extended US version should be on YouTube after airing.

I saw it and was very disappointed. I'd give it 1/5 and that's only because they got a lot of the original cast back together. It's an uninspired rehash of bits from the movie with very tired jokes. The guest star was a huge letdown as well. I was so disappointed I thought about asking Red Nose to reimburse me for the 10 minutes of my life I wasted watching it.

It's probably the years of having an eating disorder catching up to her. Everyone else looked pretty good and as expected. She looks busted. Well, Andrew Lincoln is rocking the Rick Grimes look in it but when he shaves the beard he looks fine.

I agree....I just didn't want to say it. It's amazing that some people never age, some just terribly. I just saw a recent Julia Stiles film and she's another one that just looks awful.

It's not quite Billy Mack but have you seen Still Crazy? Bill Nighy plays an aging rock star and his old band Strange Fruit wants to get back together and put on a reunion tour. It has a great cast and some pretty good music too. I definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't seen it.
