Default Blu-Ray and Bose 321 set-up?

Please don't flame me for having a Bose. I have everything else connected to Bose for right now. Even though I have to keep switching the optical cables. I have it set-up now with PS3 hooked up to TV with HDMI and optical out from PS3 to Bose. It shows PCM on my Bose even though everything else I have hooked up to Bose shows 5.1 or DTS. What am I missing? Is there a setting on PS3 that I have missed? Thanks!!

You want to send your video via HDMI and your audio via bitstream. My guess is that you have your PS3 set to PCM output instead of bitstream. Check under BD/DVD settings.

Both were set to Linear PCM, and then I set to bitstream. Still doesn't work!

Actually I had it optical from Bose to TV and got PCM. When I put optical to PS3 from Bose, I get no sound! What should I do??

Shouldn't the optical go from PS3 to Bose? That is how my HD PVR is set and my HD DVD player.

That is correct.
That system will not pull audio via the HDMI inputs.

I Have This Same Setup And Had The Same Problem. Did You Go Into Your Bose Menu And Set It Up For Optical On That One Specific Source?
