The other night I was watching a region free DVD on my PS3 slim and even though it's formatted in 16:9, the player "squished" the picture to 4:3. That was disc 1.
Play disc 2, the episodes are displayed as normal, in widescreen. The player is set up to play discs as presented; 4:3 picture displays as 4:3 and widescreen as widescreen. When I tried Disc 1 on a standard DVD player, the picture was displayed as proper widescreen. What could have caused this??? |
