Didn't see a dedicated thread for this model, so I created one. Yesterday I bought my first 4K TV, the Samsung KU6290. Picked it up at Best Buy on sale for $629, along with the Samsung 8500 4K UHD player.
At first I didn't like the picture settings at all, so be warned you might not be satisfied out the box. BUT...thankfully after hours of fine tuning I got the settings to my liking. I test these out on the 4K editions of Logan and Underworld Blood Wars in a lighted room in the middle of the day. - First off, I switched my UHD player (Samsung) to HDMI 1 - Standard Mode - Special Viewing Mode - None - Backlight - 14 - Brightness - 55 - Contrast - 95 - Sharpness - 0 - Color - 55 - Tint - G50/R50 - Digital Clean View - Off - Auto Motion Plus - OFF! - HDMI UHD Color - On for HDMI 1 - Dynamic Contrast - High - Gamma - 3 - Color Tone - Cool - White Balance - I didn't see the need to adjust this.
