I felt last year was a bit of a let down in terms of quality 3D movies. 2018 looks very good.

For which 2018 Movie's 3D, are you most excited?

If you’re asking about the 3D side of things then Pacific Rim Uprising should be sweet. Especially if it lives up to the last one. Also Battle Angel Alita should have outstanding 3D being James Cameron. Speaking of Cameron, isn’t Avatar 2 coming soon?

Mission Impossible 6. I love the franchise and I'm very intrigued to see what they do with the 3D.

2018 theatrical release. Sorry I should have been more specific!

Great to hear about MI6 being shot in 3D. I need to watch MI 4&5 to catch up (got the box set for $20 at BB a while back )

I voted for Ready Player One. Even though Spielberg's two animated 3-D efforts weren't exactly stereoscopic eye-poppers, his Jurassic Park conversion was spectacular. Fingers crossed he steers for the latter.

Black Panther, Avengers: IW, Ant Man and the Wasp, Aquaman and Solo I can't wait to see in 3D.

Curious to see MI6 in Native 3D =)

Also looking forward:
Ant-Man and the Wasp 3D
Pacific Rim Uprising 3D

And curious to see if they explore a nice 3D in Aquaman!

Is Mortal Engines being shot in Native 3D like the Hobbits?

Saw this list of over 30 though some can't be confirmed being released in 3D.

https://www.cinemablend.com/news/172...-release-dates

But this one apparently confirms what is about 28:

http://cms.pro.boxoffice.com/statist...lease-calendar

So I'm just excited to see averaging more than two a month in theaters. It reassures us from those cynics clamouring 3D is dead because in this case, there IS a trickle down affect to home theater. Am sure most will somehow be available to us in Blu-ray - unless a total flop like the 2016 Ben Hur - even if we have to import most of them.

As to my personal looking forward to, not knowing how good the film itself might be, just based on the subject matter and past productions, Monster Hunt 2, the Ant Man sequel, Jurrasic World Fallen Kingdom and Aquaman. Skyscraper seems like a remake of The Towering Inferno so I'm hopeful with that too! Pacific Rim might have been overplayed for a sequel.
