I just bought the LG 49 inch (49UH6100) TV, my first UHD 4KTV, all things considered I am very happy with my purchase so far. It is a huge step up from my old Sony 40 inch 1080P KDL-40SL150.
I have only watched one movie so far Tron Legacy up scaled to 4K, it looked amazing I watched it with custom settings, I did not use HDR while watching this film. Anyone here have this same TV, care to share their experience with it. Their opinion on it, custom settings ect. I have 2 questions about the TV. My first question is, How can you tell when the TV is up scaling 1080P and older content to 4K vs the AVR? My second question is can PC's be up scaled to 4K, even though the graphics card is limited to 1080p? For some reason my Denon AVR wont upscale my PC, but it will do so for all other content.
