I like the first one better but the sequel is really cool too. HellBoy is definitely in my top 10 comic book movies

One of my favorite movie going experiences and one of Del Toro's absolute best movies (sandwiched in between his magnum opus Pan's Labyrinth and the first film).

As far as films with humanoid underwater creature goes, I like this series much better than The Shape of Water.

A flawed but fun sequel. Too much comedy stemming from the soap-opera Hwllboy/Liz romantic plotline, all taking it too far from Hellboy's gothic horror roots.

The first one is better. I didn't like the childish route they took with Hellboy in Golden Army.

A superior film than the first one, but I can see why the fans of the comic book prefer it to the sequel.

I prefer the first one. It had better pacing and a better story. This one was like watching Hellboy lost in Pan's Labyrinth.

Never cared much for either of these movies honestly. Pretty to look at but not much else, but at least in that regard, Golden Army was an improvement over the first one.
