Default Samsung UE49KU6400 and Sony UBP-X800, problem with HDR.

I bought a Samsung UE49KU6400 4K HDR set around a month ago. Today I received a Sony UBP-X800 UHD Blu ray player. This T.V. set uses HDMI 1 for HDMI UHD Color, which I had set to ON and was the HDMI input used for my previous Samsung UBD K-8500 UHD player. HDR played without problem this way.
Today when I went to configure the Sony UBP-X800 I had problems with HDMI 1 and its HDMI UHD color. If is set to ON, the menus from the player are not visible, T.V. just doesn't displayed them, but I can play an UHD BD disc automatically just by inserting the disc and closing the tray. T.V. set displays ''an HDR video is playing'' and the OSD shows ''UHD'' and ''HDR'' and right beside this ''UHD Color'', but if I play stop or Home, no picture again.
I disabled HDMI UHD Color from HDMI and to my surprise the menus from the player are displayed. I played Star Trek Into Darkness and reds on planet Nubiru and the volcan look paler, but the Samsung T.V. set displays almost the same as before ''an HDR video is playing'' and on screen display showed both ''UHD'' and ''HDR'' as before, but as it logical no ''UHD Color'' is displayed.
The OSD from the Sony UBP-X800 player, it also displays HDR so the movie disc is being actually played on HDR, if it wouldn't it would display HDR>SDR, but that's not the case.
Playing with the picture controls it seems like disabling ''HDMI UHD Color'' changed color and video levels, once I adjusted them properly the opening scene from Star Trek Into Darkness looks as before with ''HDMI UHD Color'' ON, if not better.
So my questions are, both T.V. set and player display HDR when playing an UHD BD disc despite ''HDMI UHD Color'' being disabled, is my T.V. set really displaying picture on HDR?
What is the use of ''HDMI UHD Color'' on Samsung T.V. sets and does this switches on and of HDR of HDMI inputs or this has nothing to do with HDR?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
