Oh man, the people of Blu-ray.com won't be happy. They remade that old John Travolta TV movie but both gender and race swapped.

I can already foresee the outcry.

Looks a bit too cheesy for me, but doesn't look as distasteful as Me Before You.

That's the only thing that popped into my head. I didn't even consider the fact they race and gender swapped the role.

Do I need to get offended over this?

I love that Hollywood is slowly starting to do interracial teen romance films. First The Edge Of Seventeen, now this.

Also, I hope the artist & song title showing up on screen isn't going to be a trend in trailers. That was annoying.

I saw this last week. It was alright. I was enjoying the first half but the second half kinda drags, feels longer than its 90 minute runtime. Thought the Jurassic World kid didn't fit in this role but the lead girl is really good, hope she finds success.
