Doesn't happen often but I just got done with A Ghost Story and my word what a beautiful film. However I feel like I missed so much even though it's only an hour and a half. Straight away I wanted to watch it again. I cant though at the moment but it will play on mind until I do.
So yes, A Ghost Story comes highly recommended by me (but not if you have no patience). But what are some movies that for whatever reason made you want to make yourself another beverage of choice and press the play button straight away again? |

Years ago I watched The Mummy 3 times the day I bought it and a couple of years later did the same thing with The Mummy Returns.

Mad Max Fury Road.
Saw it three days in a row. With this MoviePass business I have a feeling I'll be doing it a lot more often. |

I didn't really want to, but the day I bought the Inception Blu-ray I watched it alone and towards the end, my roommate walked in and caught the last 10 minutes or so with me and was like "let's watch it again!" and I had nothing better to do so I said OK and watched it a second time.

Agree on A Ghost Story. Also these I wanted to watch again either because I needed clarification on things or because they were just beautiful and I needed that beauty back in my life as soon as possible!:

Wow. I love Logan but it's such an exhausting movie. Have only managed to watch it twice in theaters (once IMAX, once Noir) and once on UHD (plus one more time with the commentary). And I thought that was a lot haha

It wasnt instant, but the first time I saw The Departed, I enjoyed it. Then I started catching it on HBO and I couldnt get enough. I would start watching it midway through if I happened to click on it or saw it coming on later in the day for about a month.
Same thing with Boogie Nights. Saw it in the theater and really enjoyed it but kept watching it on cable. |

I think I did this with Fury Road. I didn't catch it in cinemas as I was waiting for my leg bones to knit back together but I bought it on Blu and was so stunned by what I'd just seen that I cued it up again straight after. I watched it the next day in black and white too, just to see what it would look like.
The only other time I can remember doing this was with Chris McQuarrie's The Way of The Gun on DVD, I honestly didn't know whether I loved it or hated it ("shut that ****'s mouth or I'm gonna ****start her head!") so I watched it again right after. |

There are a bunch of movies I've watched repeatedly over relatively short periods of time to the point that if I never watch them again, I'll still probably remember every little thing about them. But I can't remember any that I watched twice in a row in the same sitting except Inception. Which is ironic because it's not a movie I'd even remotely consider a favorite or anything.
