Hey guys,
please let me know if this kind of thread is against this sub-forum's rules. If it isn't, then let's post iTunes deals as we see them! ![]() In addition to browsing the actual iTunes store, https://www.justwatch.com/ is a great tool for finding low prices. The reason I like owning iTunes movies/television shows is that I have a tool to strip the DRM from the files, thus giving me decent HD files without the typical limits of a digital copy. It's like soft piracy, I guess, except it really isn't piracy at all. (For the record, an iTunes rep actually TOLD ME in email to find a program capable of removing DRM back when I bought Hannibal Season 3 and found iTunes playback on my PC horrendous). Here are some decent deals I've found: Joe (dir. David Gordon Green) $2.99 Battle Royale (2000) $4.99 - (seems to be this price often) Side Effects (2013) $4.99 Killing them Softly (2012) $4.99 and so on. I'd put more effort into this initial list but I'm worried this thread might be deleted! lol --- They also just put out all of the seasons of the Simpsons on iTunes, and I noticed a lot of them are in HD for $19.99. I'm looking forward to pick up an iTunes card soon and buy a couple of earlier episodes to compare them to my DVDs and, if possible, the bonus high-bitrate episodes on the blu-rays (Seasons 14-17). |
