Does anyone know why they went for the yellow background.
For Amadeus I always thought it was red ?

It was always pink/purple, I don't like the yellow. Nor the yellow tint applied to the back/inside.

My digibook will do me just fine.

Meh. I'm holding out for a remastered version with both the Theatrical Cut and the Director's Cut. A guy can dream, okay?!

The only thing lamer than a reboot is a repackaging. Maybe someone will rescue this film someday.

I like my digibook as well. Not sure about the yellow either.

Hopefully a UHD and remastered BD in a couple of years for the 35th anniversary.

This was a no brainer for me as I love the moie yet have still to upgrade it. Looks like I'm the only one though or am not that nitpicky

Wish they had gone with a new desgn for the cover though though & I do agree the new colour is confusing. Inclusion of the soundtrack would have been brilliant

I kinda want this one, but I have the digibook. That one has two disc trays..which would go well with a UHD disc replacing that soundtrack sampler.

hmmm I don't own the digibook, so this is tempting. However, the exchange rate would make this more expensive than the digibook, which I can currently get through Amazon for around $15 shipped.

Got my copy today & have to say it looks great

I wouldn't call it yellow but bronze/copper & it looks like etched foil

The difference in color works really well with the glow coming from Salieri
