Default Samsung 4K UHD Model # UN43KU7000FXZA (need help please)

Posting in this section of the forum so I can make sure I get some help if possible.

I'm looking for anyone with this TV or within this series of TV's to let me know the best optimized picture settings recommended. I'm currently watching Stranger Things and I don't think it's looking the best it could on my TV. Here are my current picture settings listed below:

Picture Mode: HDR+
Backlight: 20
Brightness: 65
Contrast: 100
Sharpness: 50
Color: 50
Digital Clean View: Auto
Auto Motion Plus: Auto
Dynamic Contrast: Medium
Color Tone: Warm1

Hope any of that info helps

I don't have this exact model, but I have the Samsung 4K UN6500MU
Try these. my suggestions are in bold

Picture Mode: HDR+
Backlight: 20
Brightness: 65
Contrast: 100
Sharpness: 50 - 0
Color: 50 - This one is fine
Digital Clean View: Auto - OFF
Auto Motion Plus: Auto - OFF
Dynamic Contrast: Medium - OFF
Color Tone: Warm1 - WARM 2

plus keep the setting in 'Movie' mode

as far as Backlight/Brightness/Contrast goes depends if your room is dark, bright or semi bright when viewing movies or regular TV programs. Also for TV viewing are you streaming or using cable/satellite?

Shut the CleanView off and try the tone at normal instead of warm1 and see if you like that. The cleanview will wash some fine detail away while warm1 is great if you have a harsher lighting in the room like florescent lights. If you have a warmer lighting tone... more amber than blue, try the Normal setting.

Thanks for the suggestions. I use streaming (Netflix) for exclusives series and cable for most other tv shows, cartoons for the my kid etc.

very good. I can tell you that Netflix isn't the absolute best in PQ per say depending on the show and how it was shot. Stranger Things isn't going to eye candy you to much with sharpness or colors certainly. One thing I read is satellite images are not really 1080p and its best to have your sat box set to 1080i. But of course at the end of the day it will be what you choose to be the best viewing experience over all others. But I also search and search for the best that the product can show-off. Good Luck.

I've used this website to calibrate 3 different Samsung 4K tv's and have been very happy with the results.
Here is a link to calibrate your TV.
http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sam...u7000/settings
Make sure you do the White balance and colorspace calibrations as well. It will make a big difference.
Good Luck!
