Russell Mulcahy's debut film. Despite the Highlander connection I've never actually got around to seeing this beast...

I just watched this a few days ago. Didn't love it but I thought it was a lot more fun than I was expecting. I'd consider grabbing this

Would have LOVED a 4K of this, but I'll take it! Razorback is heaps of fun, a solid B-movie with excellent cinematography. Not to mention one of the greatest opening scenes ever!

Very interested to see if the scan is just a port of what's on the Umbrella release or something better. I'm gonna guess outright that we won't be getting the uncut version in HD.

It will be hard to top Umbrella's release master-wise as well as extras-wise.

Underrated creature feature. Will definitely upgrade the Warner archive DVD.

Lol. And I just got the French blu-ray. I would have loved for this to be on 4K UHD.

Sloooooooowly but shirley those Warner Archive upgrades are coming our way. Can we get The Pack next, please? It's the only really good killer dog movie other than Cujo.

I already own TWO copies of this movie (it was one of the very first things I ever imported, and then I got the upgraded Aussie disc when they put out a 1080p version). I can't see myself upgrading to this - the last Umbrella release is really good. The documentary accompanying it is also excellent.

This is easily one of the best of its type. Definitely right up there with Alligator and Grizzly. It looks better than either of them, but the characters are a little weak. But man, the movie is just oozing style. Having a music video director in charge is really obvious in some sections. Especially the hallucinatory desert sequence and the stuff in the kangaroo slaughterhouse. And the effects hold up pretty well considering the vintage of the movie, a good example of "less is more."

Also as a big fan of The Road Warrior it's nice to see topknot girl in another flick. Even though her character isn't very interesting.

I really hope they can find film elements for the additional gore.

Since this was an Aussie production, would it be safe to assume that elements for any excised footage might be located in Australia? Warner was just a distributor, no?

Wasn't the Warber Brothers VHS uncut? That had to have been transferred from something, be it a print or IP or IN.
