Default Unwatched blu-rays

I tend to plan out the releases I'm going to get ahead of time. Blu-rays are cheaper on release week unless waiting for a price drop. Whether out of hype, availability, or an awesome trailer I can't imagine I'm the only one with unwatched blus.

How many unwatched blus (blind buys only) do you have at the moment and which one or ones can you obligate yourself to watch within the week? I have 17 and I plan on watching Videodrome and the Bird with the Crystal Plumage tomorrow.

I typically try to watch a movie the first night I own it so I can make sure it works and if not I have plenty of time to replace it... however I still have Tomorrowland from Black Friday 2015 that I haven't watched yet, the rest were Black Friday 2016 or DMC and when movies are under $10 I usually don't get in a rush to check the playability because I can replace them without spending too much money, especially DMC enrollment titles.

However, I don't intend to watch them this week, I'll be busy watching The 100 season 4, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency s1, and Class s1 this week and probably some of next... TV shows usually get watched before movies, due to Netflix and Amazon, watching episodes weekly and sometimes just saving a whole season to watch at once is on top of all the TV on BD I've been buying this year, these have gone unwatched:

Tomorrowland (from Black Friday 2015)
King Arthur (DMC)
Olive and Company (DMC)
Robin Hood (DMC)
The Sword in the Stone (DMC)
Twilight Saga 1-3 extended editions (Black Friday 2016)
The Age of Adaline (Black Friday 2016)
Brooklyn (Black Friday 2016)
I, Frankenstein (Black Friday 2016)
Hotel Transylvania 2 (Black Friday 2016)
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (Black Friday 2016)
Victor Frankenstein (Black Friday 2016)

All but Mission Impossible and Victor Frankenstein have been watched before though, which is also a reason I wasn't in a rush to see them... but I don't blind buy much these days.

Just one right now and that's The Lost City of Z. I suppose it will be two today when I pick up Ghost in the Shell.

I have fallen way behind on unwatched blu-ray's. Used to have all but my most recent purchased watched. Now about 70 blind buy's including 5 Famous TV series which I never saw even a single episode of. (Game of Thrones, Mad Men, House of cards (British and American, Justified). Working through 5 other Tv series (watching an episode of each week), and 3 to 5 unwatched movies. Still my take me a year or more to catch up. Good thing that I am not a fan of any of the Summer Tv fare.

I have hundreds of unwatched blu-rays and dozens of unplayed games. I've known for years that I will never, ever watch/play all of them. I've just accepted it. I know it's irresponsible, but I'm not going to sit and plan out what to spend my time on especially since, when it comes to movies at least, they're almost always watched with other people.

I don't have any as I tend to watch it once I get it - to see if everything plays okay and also because that's the planned movie of the night. It's easier to do that, for me, since I don't pick up giant hauls of movies all at once. I try to find the time and the mindset to watch a movie every other night.

I have 3 Warner Archive blind buys (which I rarely ever do) that I still haven't watched since I bought on their last 4 for $44 sale a while back which is odd since I always have to watch them as soon as I buy them. The titles are Suspicion, To Have and Have Not and Dark Passage.

I have a bunch of unwatched movies but it doesn't matter. Don't treat it like a task you have to complete. This hobby is suppose to be enjoyable and fun. The moment you make a checklist out of it the fun is gone. No longer are you looking forward to watching a bluray, you're instead looking at your blurays as something to get over with.

I'm in the same boat. But I have been grabbing a stack of unwatched stuff and just watching one after the other trying to get through them, but occasionally I throw in a favorite to rewatch.

I've also been watching the 1960s Batman TV series following the death of Adam West, I hadn't watched the entire set and I've got 8 episodes to go, I've been doing 4 every weeknight.
